Levis Cafe Racer Update July 2021

Development of the Café Racer frame and its in house designed and built unique V6 engine and six speed gearbox continues. Delays due to various supplier issues during the pandemic has slowed down progress for the last 18 months, but we are now back on track.

As you can see from the images the frame has been modified to fit tightly around the drive train package resulting in some beautifully organic curved frame lines. The V6 engine and gearbox sit low in the frame to keep the centre of gravity as close to the ground as possible. The overall bulk of the power train has been reduced wherever possible to help keep the physical size of the bike to a minimum.

V6 Engine and gearbox internals shows the starter and generator mounted above the gearbox.

We are hoping to have a running V6 engine shortly, with a functional prototype gearbox later in the year. Our intention is to have a running demonstrator ready in the new year following full evaluation and track testing.

The Café Racer will be followed by the Urban Roadster model and then later by the fully faired Sports TTR version which all feature the same V6 engine and gearbox but in varying states of tune.
